Front Porch & Entry Deck Reconstruction

This project involved the complete demolition and replacement of an aging front entry deck that had reached the end of its service life. The original structure showed significant weathering, deteriorated decking boards, and outdated railings that no longer met the homeowner’s expectations for appearance, functionality, and safety.

The renovation began with the removal of the existing deck and railings, followed by the installation of a new structural frame supported by concrete deck blocks and pressure-treated lumber. Special attention was given to proper flashing and moisture protection where the new deck connects to the home, ensuring long-term durability and protection against water intrusion.

The new deck features premium pressure-treated wood decking, custom-built railings with modern black aluminum balusters, a matching access gate, and durable stair construction. The combination of natural wood tones and contemporary black accents creates a clean, welcoming entrance that enhances the home's curb appeal while providing a safe and functional outdoor space.
